▷ 🥇 A San Diego bachelor party itinerary

If you are looking for good weather, lots of adventure, great food, and a bustling nightlife, there is nothing better than a bachelor party in San Diego. This premier West Coast spot has something for everyone, whether you’re a lover of the sea, animals, or beer.

With so many activities, planning a San Diego bachelor party can seem a bit overwhelming, but we’re here to narrow down the options for you.

To do

For ocean lovers, a San Diego bachelor party offers plenty of options on the Pacific. For starters, there is always fishing. Charter a boat from H&M Landing, which occasionally offers sport fishing for big catches like yellowfin tuna, bluefin tuna, and even a barracuda.

If fishing is not your thing, you can rent a boat of another color, a yacht party aboard one of the Mai Tai Charters. Your private boat party may even include whale and dolphin watching if you’re lucky. If you’re feeling more adventurous, consider trying surfing with the San Diego Surfing School, a 90-minute class that will have you riding waves like a pro in no time.

On land, there are many more adventures to have, especially at the San Diego Zoo, probably the most popular attraction in the city, and for good reason. This world-class zoo not only offers some fun animal watching, but you can also experience some high-speed animal encounters. On the Crazy About Cats excursion you can get up close to some of the coolest felines in the zoo. Meanwhile, on the Jungle Ropes Safari, you will have to take a 90-minute rope ride through the zoo safari terrain.

Do you want something faster? Head to K1 Speed, an indoor go-kart course in the heart of downtown, where you can put your skills to the test at 45 miles per hour. For a different type of competition, check the Padres schedule to see if there is a game while you are in town. Petco Park is within walking distance of the Gaslamp District, so getting to the game and heading out for a drink is a breeze.

After all the fun, you are probably ready for a good drink. There are many options in this city, with over 120 breweries to choose from. Some of the favorites are Stone Brewery, Ballast Point, Karl Strauss, Green Flash, and the San Diego Brewing Company.

When it comes to nightlife in San Diego, you and your bachelor party will want to be in the Gaslamp Quarter. This 16-block downtown district has plenty of restaurants, bars, and nightclubs to choose from. If you’re overwhelmed by the options, consider the brothels, sandwiches, and alcohol tour offered by So Diego Tours, where you can see the red light district, four popular restaurants, and sample cocktails and beers.

Where to eat

Like many West Coast venues, a San Diego bachelor party should include dining options with meals that match the spectacular views. Start the day at Breakfast Republic, where menu items include a Mango Chicken Sausage Scramble, Pork Jurassic Benedict, Chilaquiles, and Churros Pancakes.

For a casual bite to eat, head to one of Hodad’s three locations (Ocean Beach, Downtown, or Petco) for colossal burgers. We’re talking stacks, like the Guido Burger, a burger with pastrami, pickles, and Swiss cheese.

If that’s not enough to produce meat sweats, head to The Cowboy Star for a steak dinner. With over 10 cuts on the menu, plus shared dishes like Waygu ravioli and steamed mussels, we promise you won’t leave hungry.

The Standard Double Kitchenetta offers flavors inspired by Italian cuisine in a menu that changes weekly based on seasonal and available ingredients. Options often include beef meatballs, handmade pastas, chicken jidori, and fresh pizzas. You can also do the Chef’s Five-Course Tasting Menu for $ 80.

For a spirit-inspired dinner, consider barleymash, with its beer and bourbon-inspired menu. You’ll find everything from the black and blue burger to the latest buffalo flatbread, or the bacon-baked pork shoulder pad and short rib fries, all to go with a cocktail or beer of your choice. For a different kind of spirit-infused dinner, head to The Cork & Craft, home to a restaurant, as well as Annormal Wine Company and Annormal Beer Company. Your drink pairings will include food options such as a Grilled Duroc Pork Chop with Polenta Pie, 16-ounce ribeye Angus, or Grilled Short Rib on Risotto.

For dinner with a view, head to the Altitude Sky Lounge (also a good place for a drink if you’re not hungry). Sitting atop the Marriot hotel in the Gaslamp District, your views of Coronado Island, Petco Park, and Point Loma will turn into fine flatbreads, appetizers, and sandwiches.

Where to stay

If you want to stay close to the action during your San Diego bachelor party, consider the Omni San Diego for your Cali bachelor party. Located in the Gaslamp district, this hotel is just a 15-minute walk from anywhere you want to be, including the sea.

On the outskirts of downtown San Diego, you can find the largest casino in California, and a great place to stay, at Pechanga Resort and Casino in Temcula. Close to wineries in the area, this place has a lot to offer, including table games for gambling, and is within walking distance of the city center.

Closer to the city center, the Blue Sea Beach Hotel offers sandy beaches and ocean views right on the beach, plus a heated ocean-view pool and spa.
