The period before the wedding and especially the famous preparations can test the nerves of the future bride and groom! Because we sometimes have a tendency to take even the slightest hint of tragedy in organizing an event, it is good to know how to take a break and breathe.

1. Four weddings and a funeral

It is one of the great classics of British cinema. Taken by a dream couple, Hugh Grant and Andie MacDowell, this film invites us to follow a group of friends through various wedding ceremonies. Stories of love, friendship, humor, mistakes and catastrophes are part of this romantic comedy, which does not forget to be moving.

2. Pride and prejudice

You will find several adaptations of this novel by Jane Austen, one of the main works of English literature, the most recent of which is the 2005 version, in which Keira Knightley plays one of the main roles. She plays Elizabeth Bennet, a beautiful and intelligent young woman with no financial resources whom her parents are trying to marry like her sisters to secure her future. We found Julia Roberts (Julianne), this time invited to her best friend’s wedding. Seeing Michael, her childhood friend, makes Julianne realize her feelings for him. Therefore, he will do everything in his power to sabotage Kimberly’s marriage to Kimberly (Cameron Diaz). A fun and animated film carried by very good actors and a succession of lighthearted jokes.

Jane (Katherine Heigl) is a recurring bridesmaid. She has already played this role in the wedding of 27 of her friends. She is far from married. 8. Five years of reflection

Tom, a chef from San Francisco, asks his girlfriend Violet, a psychology student, to marry him, which she agrees to. However, she obtained a two-year position as a researcher at the University of Michigan. Tom agrees to postpone the wedding and follows his fiancee to Michigan. The film covers 5 years of their lives as a couple, with their hopes and doubts, until D-Day.

The protagonist of this film is Ava, a psychologist who has flourished in her work and who has just married her boyfriend Charlie. Everything seems to work out for him until his parents tell him they want a divorce. Then she will do whatever she can to save their relationship, perhaps at the expense of hers.

10. I promise you

This movie tells the story of a young couple, Paige and Leo, who just got married and moved in together. Unfortunately, they are faced with a car accident that causes Paige to lose her memory. He no longer remembers his last years of life, including his meeting and marriage to Leo. The latter will do everything in his power to restore his memory and make you fall in love with him again.
