The accessory became Queen Elizabeth II’s in 1953, lending it to Meghan for use in the celebration. According to information from Kensington Palace, the tiara was made of platinum and had several diamonds with different sizes studded in its composition.

The wedding cake chosen by the couple was produced by American Claire Ptak, owner of the Violet Baker store in London, at a cost of around R$16,000.

In the recipe, the royal wedding prince Harry took elderberry syrup made at the queen’s residence in the Sandringham region of England. The filling was made of Amalfi lemons and elderberry cream.

For decoration, the dessert was covered with Swiss meringue butter cream and about 150 fresh flowers, including peonies and roses.
