The marriage proposal
Digital influencer Thassia Naves started producing content for her fashion and lifestyle blog 10 years ago. Today, she is one of the biggest personalities in the Brazilian fashion scene and a reference influencer around the world.
As everything in their lives is highlighted in social media, the wedding proposal was made in May 2018, during a trip of the couple to southern Brazil. The two have been friends since childhood and have been dating since adolescence.
The ring, a classic of gold and glitter, was chosen by the groom and signed by designer Andrea Conti, famous creator of jewelry.
Engagement Thassia Naves
Although the request happened in May, it was only in November 2018 that the couple celebrated the engagement.
For 2 days, a party gathered more than 120 guests at Boa Vista Farm, located in the city of Pedregulho in São Paulo, and organized by the event assistance companies, Boutique de Três and Rocha Cerimonial.
Dannilo Camargo was responsible for the decoration project, who told a touch of romanticism, fashionism and other details that reminded the couple’s story, such as dragonflies, butterflies and jaguars.
Dress Thassia Naves
As with other famous ones, such as Marina Ruy Barbosa’s wedding, the bride’s dress is one of the most striking factors.
With the blogger, it couldn’t be any different. O Thassia Naves wedding look was a classic princess bride dress model, but with a mix of tulle, embroidery and slightly puffed long sleeves.
The dress was signed by Sandro Barros, a reference designer at weddings, and took four months to be finished.
In his social network, the fashion designer commented on the production of the Thassia Naves wedding dressWe use 80 meters of tulle, 24 meters of tulle point d’sprit, 24 meters of silk organza, 18 meters of silk satin, 6 meters of English tulle embroidered on off white line, 12 meters of English tulle embroidered on silver line, 12 meters of English tulle embroidered with thread roses and micro paquettes”.
The beauty of the bride was left to Júnior Mendes, a make-up artist from São Paulo, who made a very classic and romantic make to complement the look. Lipstick and gloss developed in partnership with M.A.C. were used to produce the bride.
Thassia wore René Caovilla shoes made to measure with the lace of her own dress, in addition to jewels of the Talent brand.
Thassia Naves wedding in church
The religious ceremony took place on September 21 in a church in the city of Uberlândia, where Thassia was baptized. The celebration had a more intimate feel, so only close friends and family were invited.
For the decoration of the church, Thassia Naves opted for the classic, white flowers and foliage, but all very clean and elegant.
For the party, the “romantic” style prevailed, and the bet was peonies of the most varied shades of pink, besides white flowers. The cake chosen was white with sugar flowers, made by the famous confectionary, The King Cage.
On the occasion, the blogger confirmed the second party, which took place on Oct. 12 at the Crystal Palace in Petrópolis, with more than 700 guests. To make this event memorable and unforgettable, the decoration was also in the hands of Dannilo Camargo, but with the help of Valéria Leão.
The idea is that the celebration should be traditional, in a salon, and should extend until the next morning.
Blog Thassia Naves wedding
Whoever thought the blogger would leave content production aside to dedicate itself to the wedding, could not be more mistaken. In parallel to the preparations, it started to intensify its activities, producing content about the moment it is living.
In addition to producing several stories for your Instagram, Thassia Naves will use the wedding to create a web series, counting all the steps up to the day of the event. The blogger’s wish was that, besides the opportunity to check out everything that happened at the party, her followers would participate in some way in this unique moment.
Second celebration of Thassia Naves
As previously mentioned, Thassia Naves and agronomist Artur Attie Aki separated their ceremony into two moments: one on September 21, in São Paulo, and the other on October 12, at the Crystal Palace, located in Uberlândia.
For her second celebration, the blogger opted for a hopefully princess-like wedding dress. The piece took 10 months to be made and brings the monogram of the couple embroidered with linen and crystals.
To complete her look, Thassia Naves chose specially designed sandals by René Caovilla and headpiece with diamonds embroidered by Talento Joias, accompanying the embroidery of the dress.
Different entrance and a wonderful place
In the shape of an arena, the place of the celebration sought to highlight the couple even more, with a mirrored floor and very modern and elegant decoration, in addition to the installation of some crystals with candles.
For the bride’s entrance, the song played was a version of “Ave Maria”, performed by Agnaldo Rayol, Brazilian actor and singer with over 70 years of career. The decoration also had many white flowers spread around the place, which gave a classic touch to the atmosphere.
After the party, animated by DJs Felipe Mar and Lucas Borchardt, Thassia and Arthur embarked for the Maldives Islands, where they went to enjoy their honeymoon.
